Swimming Pool Questionnaire

Hobart High School and White Dolphin Swimming Club

Hobart High School intends to make the 16.8m x 6.7m swimming pool on the school site available for use by the local community outside school hours. This will be in addition to the existing use by the White Dolphin Swimming Club for children's swimming lessons.

To enable community use to take place, the pool requires comprehensive refurbishment, estimated to cost £750,000. The refurbishment proposed will include complete renewal of the changing areas, creation of a reception area, improved access arrangements, replacement of the pool hall structure, deepening of the pool to 1.8 metres and renewal of heating and chemical treatment plant.

Potential funding partners for the refurbishment need to know that there is demand for community use of the pool. This questionnaire is an important means of gauging likely demand for use of the pool.
