Dear CCEA members,
It's that time of the year again for us, according to the CCEA Bylaws, to hold an election to elect a new President and five members to the new Board of Directors. It is our honor to serve you as members of the Election Committee. The Election Committee consists of the following three members: Ke Zhou (chair), Liqun Ke, and Zairen Luo. We are going to serve the members to the best of our abilities.
The election consists of the following two stages: Nomination Stage and Ballot Voting Stage. Each stage will last for a period of three weeks. The nomination period is from Dec. 15, 2009 to Jan. 5, 2010. The voting period is from Jan. 7, 2010 to Jan. 28, 2010.
The nomination is going to be conducted online at this survey website. A list of eligible nominees will be produced on Jan. 5, 2010. Each eligible nominee will be asked to submit an acceptance statement and a brief autobiography to the Election Committee. For this election, each member can have no more than one (1) nominee for the CCEA Presidency and no more than five (5) nominees for the new Board of Directors.
