Welcome to King Shepherd Health Survey

We are asking anyone that has or had a King or has information on any dogs in the King Lines (including Shiloh Shepherds, German Shepherds, White German Shepherds, etc) to fill out this survey. We are striving to gather as much informations as possible and mantain it in one centralized location.

We need information on every dog out there, not just the ones with diseases, but the healthy ones too! Our goal is to identify and reduce genetic diseases from our breed. In order to do this we need to know where the diseases are in each dogs pedigree. It is important to track as mush as possible (ideally everything) since we don't always know if a disease is inherited or not inherited nor the mode of inheritance ( For example Mega E's mode of inheritance has only been determined in the Fox Terrier and Miniature Schnauzer - all other breeds the mode of inhertance is undetermined). The only way we can know for sure is to track the movement down each pedigree to each new generation of dogs.
