Over the past several years, the population of white-tailed deer has increased in Staten Island (Richmond County) and that trend is expected to continue. In consideration of potential deer management options, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has developed the following survey to assess the general attitudes of Staten Island residents towards white-tailed deer.
