2007 Survey - Preservation in Ohio
A huge thank you from Preservation Ohio for choosing to participate in our survey, which looks at current preservation and revitalization issues in Ohio, as well as our organization and its relationship to the state's preservation community.
Your identity will be kept completely anonymous, and so we are only asking for basic background information. We believe that identifying all of our responders would, in fact, skew our results.
We would also respectfully request that you complete only one survey form. While there is no guarantee against multiple entries, our analysis of the results will attempt to remove any such possibility.
Ohioans are in the midst of tremendous change in the way we live, shop, play and communicate. As you know, the Buckeye State continues to lag behind most others in the country in terms of population growth and economic development. At the same moment in time, Ohio's rich collection of historic resources faces an increasing dual risk from uncontrolled and subsidized sprawl and by substantial disinvestment in traditional commercial and residential areas. As Preservation Ohio begins our second quarter-century of service, it seems an important time to take a moment, review the situation, and choose directions that match challenges and opportunities.
This survey will be sent out via the bi-weekly Preservation Ohio E-News, on our blog, MyHometownOhio, and on our website. Once the completion deadline is reached, we will publish some of the survey results for your information. Our Staff will be presenting the results of this survey to our Board of Trustees at their next meeting.
Again, thank you from your assistance in completing this survey.
